This is what happens when Book and Jonny start getting all deep and contemplative:

We want to be awesome
You know when you go into a Pizza Pizza and you see music videos playing on giant flat screens? Wouldn’t it be awesome if you saw our video?
Yup. This is a shameless plug.
As we approach 1000 views on YouTube, we are now aiming to be on 200 screens, but we need your adoration and about 4 minutes of your time. The good folks over at Pizza Pizza will happily add our video to their PPTV network, but only if we get 20 likes on their link. That’s all. 20 likes and we’ll be “awesome”.
You just need to click this sentence.
Think about it: in just a few weeks, you could be standing in line ordering a medium pizza to go, you’ll glance up at the screen and BAM! Our video will be playing.
Then, you can stand up on the counter and tell everyone in the restaurant that YOU were responsible for making us awesome!*
(*we should warn you that standing on the counter in any establishment could result in you getting tossed out of the restaurant and without your pizza, just sayin’)

It’s Showtime…
So much has happened in these past few weeks, and now it’s the night before our EP release.
Hopefully you’re all as excited as we are, because even if you’ve had a sneak peek and listened to a few songs, tomorrow night’s show will have stuff you haven’t heard just yet (and we’ve even tweaked what you’ve already heard).
We decided to open the doors at 8 instead of 8:30 and have invited our friend DJ Lissa Monet to do a set before and after the show.
This is it, this is the beginning of what we started…
See you tomorrow
It’s OFFICIAL – the “Amy” EP Release Party
When you throw a BEATFACE party, there are certain factors a girl has to take into consideration:
It better sound good.
It better have beer.
It better have enough room for people to dance their asses off.
Now, those things? Well those are easy enough. But when the guys start requesting things like dancing chickens, a slip n’ slide and firecrackers, well… that’s when things got a bit more difficult.
But the key things? Those I’ve got on lock.
This is it folks, the night we’ve been waiting for. We’re having our EP release party on July 11 at Parts & Labour. It sounds good, they’ve got beer and there’s room for you to dance your ass off.
“Amy” our first EP, is a chance for us to provide you with your summer soundtrack. You’ve heard bits and pieces here and there, but on July 11, you’ll get to hear that and more.
Even though they’re not open on Mondays, we’re opening up The Shop to play you stuff you’ve heard, stuff you haven’t heard, and if you want to find out if I was able to score dancing chickens, you’ll have to come out and see for yourself.
July 11, 2011. Doors at 8:30. Performance at 9:30.
Parts & Labour / 1566 Queen Street West (just west of Lansdowne)
Oh yeah, and it’s FREE.
